Dr Zil Yassine
Medical Director
Dr Zil Yassine is a practising doctor of over 15 years and an expert in non-invasive varicose vein treatments. Zil is dedicated and passionate about vascular health and staying up-to-date on the latest technology.
Zil’s number one priority is providing patients the best quality care. As the Medical Director of The Vein Institute, he’s responsible for training doctors to diagnose vein diseases and ensuring they perform treatments to the highest standard.
Dr Zil proudly holds a Bachelor of Medicine (UNSW), Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound in Phlebology (ACP), and is a fellow of FRACGP, F(Phleb UK).
Georjal Verykios
Nurse
Georjal is our Practice Nurse. She prepares the clinic for each EVLA, RFA, ClariVein, and Sclerotherapy treatment and assists our doctors during the varicose vein treatment process, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
Georjal holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Sydney. She worked in Operating Theatres as a surgical nurse and recovery/PACU nurse. Georjal also has training in cosmetic nursing.
Dina Vinogradova
Vascular Sonographer
Dina works as a sonographer and medical assistant. Her work involves conducting ultrasound examinations of patients’ vascular systems, which she does at the initial consultation, treatment, and check-ups. Ultrasound helps determine the scope of a varicose vein, pinpoint additional branches, and determine the best treatment.
She studied Surgery and Ultrasound Diagnostics and did her residency in Moscow. Dina then worked in a specialised clinic for the treatment of vascular diseases of the lower extremities in Moscow.
Elizabeth Atkinson
Patient Liaison Manager
As a PLM, Elizabeth is a key point of contact between patients and our medical team. She’s responsible for answering calls, booking appointments, and ensuring you have all the information you need about our varicose vein treatment processes and any documentation we’ll require from you.
Elizabeth has worked as a healthcare receptionist in the US and has 2 years of corporate logistics experience, specialising in pharmaceuticals. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies from the University of Mississippi.
