CLaCS (Cryo Laser & Cryo Sclerotherapy)
CLaCS, or Cryo Laser and Cryo Sclerotherapy, innovatively combines transdermal laser technology and mild sclerosant injections to treat spider veins. This minimally invasive procedure uses controlled heat from a specialised laser, augmented reality, sclerotherapy injections, and cryotherapy for clearer skin, minimal downtime, and a comfortable treatment experience.
Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is a very common spider vein treatment. It involves injecting a sclerosant solution (in our case, Dextrose or Aethoxysclerol) into the vein to seal it and stop blood from flowing through it. Once it’s sealed, your body will gradually absorb it. This tried and true procedure lets us target larger spider veins and feeder veins deeper under the skin’s surface.
Nd:YAG laser Spider Vein Treatment
The Nd:YAG laser, which we also use in the CLaCS procedure, is NON-INVASIVE. No injections, no incisions. It is a specialised laser that targets spider vein clusters through the skin, heating them up and sealing them shut. To ensure the procedure is comfortable, we’ll use cryotherapy to take the laser heat away from the skin. So, in short, it will feel similar to laser hair removal.
RF Treatment for Spider Veins
RF cauterisation for spider veins and telangiectasias uses a tiny needle to pierce the spider vein and seal it shut through controlled heat. It’s a great option for veins that are too small for sclerotherapy injections or lack the hemoglobin required for proper Nd:YAG targeting. The process usually only takes 10-15 minutes, and it is very well-tolerated, rarely requiring regional anaesthetic.
Anti-Wrinkle Injections
Anti-wrinkle injections use a special substance (in our case, a naturally occurring protein) to make certain muscle groups relax, leading to a smoother skin appearance. You will see initial results after treatment and the full effect within a few days. These injections are generally very well tolerated, requiring no anaesthesia. They also don’t require any downtime.
