Endovenous Laser Ablation involves making a tiny 1mm incision and guiding a laser fibre through the problem vein. Your practitioner will ablate the vein with heat energy, sealing it shut for your body to absorb.

Radiofrequency Ablation is similar, but it uses radiofrequency bursts instead. RFA and EVLA are gold-standard treatments with a 98% success rate and very low risk (<1%) of complications.

Sclerotherapy for varicose veins this treatment is typically reserved for the smaller and twisted veins that the EVLA fibre can’t easily get through.

ClariVein uses a sclerosant distributed through a special catheter with a rotating tip. The tip penetrates the vein wall, and the sclerosant irritates it, sealing the vein. Unlike liquid sclerotherapy, ClariVein can be used on medium-sized varicose veins.
